Tom Wood Group currently has an opportunity for an Outside Sales Associate to represent our Outdoor Equipment and Powersport dealerships. We continue the legacy established from the first dealership in 1967 -  exceptional customer service and exceptional product offerings!   With our continued growth we are seeking a successful candidate with a sales background and knowledge of farm equipment, commercial mowers, and powersports products. 

 

Compensation will include a base salary plus commission. A company vehicle and cell phone will also be provided.  (minimal overnight travel)

Responsibilities

 Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Calling and visiting new prospective customers, as well as developing existing accounts
  • Consistent implementation of the Tom Wood Outdoor Equipment and Powersports Sales Process
  • Complete product knowledge training and maintain current certification for all Powersports and Outdoor Equipment products and accessories
  • Optimize the customer experience by demonstrating a thorough knowledge of OE products and delivering an efficient sales process
  • Follow up and maintain consistent contact with customers throughout the ownership cycle

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 Education/Experience

 

-Must have retail sales experience and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

-Experience calling on local, county, state, and federal government is a plus

-Self-starter motivated to do cold calling for new customers

-Knowledge and experience with outdoor equipment and powersports

-Good computer skills including Microsoft Office and using database systems

-Detail oriented with good organizational skills

-Valid driver license with clean driving record

 

 

 

Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a background screening including a criminal background check, a review of motor vehicle records, verification of social security number, and passing a drug test at a certified testing facility
