As a member of the Tom Wood Group office staff, this position is responsible for document imaging duties including scanning, reviewing, prepping and sorting of batches, software usage, data entry and scanner maintenance. The person filling this position should be detail oriented and have the ability to work in a high volume, confidential and deadline driven environment.

  • Start up with software and proper settings, setup station
  • Scan batched documents
  • Perform quality review of document images
  • Entering proper data per File and batch
  • Perform scanner maintenance
  • Dispose of scanned and reviewed documents
  • Provide any important review information with management 


  • Must be detail orientated, with good eye-hand movements; good work ethic, and doesn't mind sitting for 90% of the day.
  • Constant reading, typing and computer use.
  • A lot of sensitive information is presented in the documents, so candidate must be trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Sorting through documents to prepare them to be scanned by removing staples, bindings, tape, etc..
  • Need to be able to carry a bankers box full of documents up to 30 lbs.Able to follow written instructions; and accept criticism when errors are found
  • Someone who does NOT need to socialize and interact with people all day, understands deadlines and enjoys independent work.
  • Competence with office software applications and office equipment

Training is provided for software and scan equipment as well as general processes.
