Essential Duties include the following.

• Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Check with the parts manager, wholesale rep, inventory control administrator, parts counter people, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Deliver parts to body shop and distribute to body techs when needed .
• Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
• Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
• Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries/pick-ups and get signatures.
• Unload truck and turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed. Advise parts manager if trucks need major repairs and maintenance.
• Assist service department as needed with attendant responsibilities of managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers' cars.
• Help with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
• Ensure returned parts are delivered back to zone delivery staging area or appropriate store as required by management.

The ideal candidate will:

• Must have Indiana Driver License and good driving record.
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Handle themselves professionally and stay calm under pressure
• Prior parts experience a plus
