    Responsibilities

    Monitoring website speed and standards compliance

    Using tools such as gtmetrix or pingdom, monitor the loading speed of each website. Use the reports along with other knowledge of website performance to identify what elements are contributing to a slow load speed. Communicate these with contact at DealerSpike, who can act as fiduciary to help remove problems without affecting functionality.  

    Catching Dealerspike mistakes and confirming/approving changes

    Periodically checking website functionality to make sure everything works is important for bounce rate, conversion rate, and SEO.  

    Create and Manage Banners: Requests should be completely detailed out in initial call to minimize edits.  

    Troubleshoot data feed from Lizzy to Dealerspike to Cycletrader: Monitor the inventory of websites and cycletrader and provide Technical Support

    Ad reel

    For certain events, the stores require video loops of partner ads to play on a smart TV. The store will provide a list of needed clips, and they need to be loaded onto a USB in mp4 format. Youtube and facebook ads can be ripped with online tools (facebook ads are harder but possible with the right tools). These clips can be combined and exported with AfterEffects and Adobe Media Encoder.

    ‘Tech Support’

    Have good understanding of the various websites and applications:  Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects); Social Media sites (Instagram and Facebook); Google tools; and Databases (lizzy, Dealerspike back end)

     

     

     

    Qualifications

     

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • Creative/Innovative
    • Skilled with web maintenance and support
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Automotive enthusiast a plus
